As part of the launch of the 16 new executive vehicles Arriva Yorkshire has named a bus after one of  Britain's favourite personalities - Jonathan Ross.

Jonathan Ross and his BBC Radio 2 visited the Wakefield Depot to launch the special ‘Jonathan Ross Bus'. They broadcast live from Arriva Yorkshire's Wakefield Depot bringing a host of guests with them, including the world famous band Athlete.

Jonathan agreed to visit Arriva's Wakefield depot earlier this year when Chloe Leach, Arriva Yorkshire's Marketing and Communications Manager, entered an on air competition. Ross said he would come to launch his namesake bus if all female bus drivers at the depot dressed in traditional Victorian attire - Jonathan's preferred uniform for bus drivers! And of course, the ladies obliged!
